Our aims

We are a small, friendly, pre-school which aims to cater for the individual needs of every child in our care, to allow them to reach their full potential. We do this by providing the opportunity to learn through play in a safe, stimulating environment. Our sessions are held in Seagry village hall where we have plenty of space for the children to learn and play, as well as a small outdoor area. We operate according to a set of policies which are available for all parents/carers to look at on request.

Learning through play

We base our topics and activities on the curriculum guidance for the foundation stage. This will be achieved through planned activities specifically designed for your child's development. These activities will include;

Construction toys, Music and movement, Messy play (playdough, sand, water and painting), Table top games and puzzles, Early reading and writing (stories and craft), Imaginative play, Outside play activities

Please refer to the section on the Foundation Stage Curriculum for further information,

We have a good working relationship with Seagry Church of England Primary-School, and the whole pre-school is invited to join in with the reception class for 4 sessions during the last half of the summer term. All of this leads to a happier and easier transition for those children who are leaving us to go to school.
